AI and your skin

What's AI, and what isn't.

We want you to always know what made a picture, where your photo goes, and what a tip is based on.

Looks painted on your phone

The four looks for your outfit, the step-by-step guide and the live guide are painted on your phone by MyraGlow's own makeup engine. Your photo doesn't leave your phone for this. In the app, these carry a phone icon.

AI pictures, only when you ask

Some extras are made by AI: a photo-real version of a look, new hairstyles, and a few Makeover tools. These need your photo to go to an AI service, so the app asks first, and you can say no. AI pictures carry a sparkle icon and are marked as AI when you post them.

Your skin tone only changes if you ask. When an AI picture comes back, the app compares it with your own photo and puts your real skin tone back if it drifted.

Myra AI

Myra AI is an AI beauty assistant, not a person, and she always says so. She can make mistakes. Her tips are beauty guidance, not medical advice.

Skin Analysis

Skin Analysis looks at nine areas, such as redness, texture and under-eyes, from a selfie. The measurements are made on your phone. If you agree, your front photo is also sent to AI to write a short summary.

It is guidance only, not a medical diagnosis. A photo can't measure everything, and lighting changes what it sees. For anything that worries you, such as a changing mole, a rash or pain, please see a doctor or dermatologist.
